INGUMA data adapted to Wikidata format. Linked Open Data
In 2000, Inguma, a database of scientific production in Basque, was created. Twenty years later, we've taken a step further, moving the Inguma data to the free Wikidata knowledge graph by creating the Inguma-Wikibase database and following the model of a database based on semantic triplets.
Wikidata is based on the Open Linked Data paradigm (LOD, Linked Open Data). This initiative aims to open the way for the exhibition and analysis of scientific production in Basque in the context of global production.
The aim is to increase the visibility of data and create a resource for advanced data analysis: to complete the profiles of researchers, to describe the contents of the production and to carry out other scientific or bibliometry work.
